The Gopsel According to Jesus

We find it appropriate to address a special sad issue in these days. The name of our Lord Jesus Christ is being, twisted, abused, removed for deity, used in vain and left out. All this is done by the church, the Body. Where He is the Head. And also done by those who call themselves church, ecclesia, but by their doctrine, easily can be proven they are not. It is not only sad. It is hurting, but also a reminder and warning that He is coming back soon.

In especially two sermons we can read in the New Testament (NT) two brothers who address this issue. It is Peter in Acts 2, and Steven in Acts 7.

What they did not was to start from the very beginning. If they have done so they would probably been stoned and not be able to preach the Gospel at all. But we can start from the very beginning. Because if you want to preach the Gospel it is from the very beginning you have to start;

1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2 The same was in the beginning with God.
3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
John 1:1-3

So let’s start:

First of all Jesus is the Creator

Secondly;

He visited Abraham

He was in the bush and talked to Moses

He was in the oven with the friends of Daniel

- And so on and so forth

So when we preach the Gospel we have to start with the very beginning;

He is the God the Son the Creator of all things together with God the Father and God the Holy Spirit. He created us in His image and likeness. Holy with a free will like Him. We rebelled and sin came into the world.

He is the Creator of Lucifer the fallen angel. He personally kicked that rebellious angel out of Heaven.

When we preach the Gospel we have to include the above and go on further with this;

And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. John 1:14

So Jesus came into this world and was starting his ministry with these Words;

14 Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God,
15 And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.
Mark 1:14f

His teaching, miracles and death is followed by these Words. Likewise His resurrection, ascending to Heaven, outpouring of the Holy Sprit, Baptism in the Holy Spirit and Fire, His Holy Commission and promises of His return including all what is promised from tribulation to rule with Him in 1000 years and the Eternity with Him in Heaven.

ALL have to be preached. If we don’t preach All we preach another Gospel. We can not leave anything out. Especially the result of not believing; eternal Hell. Especially not the concept of repentance and forgiveness.

We always have to speak of Him as if He was present and don’t forget to speak about others inclusive Peter, Paul and Mary, as dead as they are. So we always say; Jesus SAY, but i.e. Paul said. Do not sin against this. Meaning to say don’t be unbelieving about this. It is that start of all compromising to take this lightly. It is haughtiness to take this lightly.

So to end this short (actually too short) remainder in these deceitful and difficult days with so much false teaching.

The Holy Spirit have to be our source for all preaching. If we can’t just at any notice stand up in front of people and be a witness and preach this Gospel we are not lead 100 % by Him. We have pride and arrogance in your life and have to repent.

Repent also means to be set free from slavery of sin. Sin first of all not to believe. So let us;

Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of [our] faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. Heb.12:2

Jesus blesses you, your family and your ministry.
