The cruel master, money

Then entered Satan into Judas surnamed Iscariot, being of the number of the twelve. Luke 22:3

How could this happen? How can Satan just enter into a man like that? He was even one of the twelve.

It is a very simple question to that; he was serving him. When you serve someone and are obedient to them you recognise them as lord.

He serves Satan in the way that he had a love for money. The love of money is the root of all evil. The love of money is to say “I have Satan as my lord”

Why do you think Jesus use some much time talking about money? Because it is the evil if you love it. And looking at the world today I find out. It is everywhere and because of the false watered down gospel, and the prosperity gospel may be most in the churches.

Yes we can deny, but our actions put us away as liars. Because the lifestyle we have is shining out that we love money. We think about money, we talk about money and we dream about money, much money.

34 And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and [so] that day come upon you unawares. 35 For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth. 36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man. Luke 21:34-36

6 But godliness with contentment is great gain. 7 For we brought nothing into [this] world, [and it is] certain we can carry nothing out. 8 And having food and raiment let us be therewith content. 9 But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and [into] many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition. 10 For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. 11 But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness. 12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses. 1 Tim.6:6-12

What about you? Are you content with what you have? When you give, do you give like this?

1 And he looked up, and saw the rich men casting their gifts into the treasury. 2 And he saw also a certain poor widow casting in thither two mites. 3 And he said, Of a truth I say unto you, that this poor widow hath cast in more than they all: 4 For all these have of their abundance cast in unto the offerings of God: but she of her penury hath cast in all the living that she had. Luke 21:1-4

I think we all have to repent!
